Delius Doherty (Director/Executive Producer/Writer/’Olu’) is a proud Black, queer artist whose creative projects span many forms and expressions. Doherty has performed and collaborated around the globe since graduating from The High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Houston, Texas and finishing his Bachelor of Fine Arts at Pennsylvania State University on a full scholarship. In 2016 he attended The University of Nevada, Las Vegas, earning a Master’s of Fine Arts. During this time, he also served as a Musical Theatre faculty member where he used his gift for teaching and encouraging creative minds. He performed with the original Broadway company of "The Book of Mormon" in 2012, and shortly after expanded his horizons to film and television by earning featured roles on “Law and Order” and HBO’s “Vinyl.” His distinct blend of characteristics has led his work to be called a “master class in acting technique” (Talking Broadway). His first short film "Facetime'' was officially selected for the Los Angeles International Film Festival in 2019. Delius is currently the Head of Dance and Drama at St. James’ Episcopal School in Los Angeles, CA and was most recently seen in the LA premiere of "The Inheritance'' at The Geffen Playhouse and the world premiere musical "The Visitor'' at The Public Theater (based on the Tom McCarthy movie of the same title) . Jonathan Burke (Executive Producer/Writer/’Brandon’) began his acting training in high school at the Baltimore School for the Arts and ultimately received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Ithaca College. He can be seen in the recurring role of ‘Eric’ on Prime Video’s hit series, “Harlem,” as well as on NBC’s “New Amsterdam,” Hulu’s “Only Murders in the Building,” MGM+’s “Bridge and Tunnel” and in the short films, Noah’s Arc: The ‘Rona Chronicles and The Distinguished. On Broadway, he appeared as the leading role, ‘Pharus Jonathan Young,’ in the closing company of Choir Boy, as ‘Young Man 5/Toby’s Agent/Charles Wilcox’ in the Original Broadway Cast of the Best Play Tony Award winner, The Inheritance, and was a member of the Original Broadway Cast of Tuck Everlasting. Jonathan was seen Off-Broadway as ‘Elzie’ in Toni Stone at the Roundabout Theatre Company’s Laura Pels Theatre, as ‘Mungojerrie’ in CATS: “The Jellicle Ball” at PAC NYC, as ‘Jordan’ in Patience at Second Stage Theater’s McGinn-Cazale Theatre, as ‘Jeff’ in Love + Science at MTC Stage II, and in Joan of Arc: Into the Fire at the Public Theater. His tour credits include Mary Poppins, A Christmas Story: The Musical, Joseph..., and Cats. Regionally, he has appeared across the country at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, Goodspeed Opera House, Cape Playhouse, Syracuse Stage (for which he won a SALT Award for Leading Actor in a Musical, as ‘Bert’ in Mary Poppins), The Muny, Portland Center Stage, Baltimore Center Stage, the Studio Theatre, the Hangar Theatre, the MGR Playhouse, the Broad Stage, the Virginia Stage Company, among others. Ahmad Maksoud (Executive Producer/Writer/’Sharif’) is a proud Egyptian American actor based in New York City. He received his Masters in Fine Arts from Harvard’s American Repertory Theatre/Moscow Art Theatre Training Institute. He performed in the Broadway, Off-Broadway, and touring productions of 10-time Tony award winning show, The Band’s Visit. He was nominated for a Lucille Lortel award for his performance in The Visitor at The Public Theater. Additional Off-Broadway and regional appearances include The Roundabout Theatre Co., The Atlantic Theatre, Lincoln Center, New York Theatre Workshop, The American Repertory Theatre, The Kennedy Center, The Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, among others. TV credits include “Law and Order: SVU,” “The Equalizer,” “The Blacklist,” “Madame Secretary,” and “The Good Fight.” He’ll be featured on the upcoming animated kids movie “JG and the BC Kids,” written by Janet Hubert.
