Jamila Sabares-Klemm (‘Waiter’): Jamila is a Filipino-American activist, actor, and singer. She most recently starred as Eliza Hamilton in the Hit Broadway Musical Hamilton at the CIBC Theatre in Chicago. Recent Credits include: Hair (1st Natl Tour), The Prince of Egypt (World Premiere), Rent, Miss Saigon, The King and I, Spamalot, In The Heights, and Macbeth. Offstage, Jamila is an active member of different grassroots movements. She works to be an ally and supporter alongside those who’ve been deeply affected by systemic oppression around the world. Her mission is to use her voice, body, and work as a vessel for change.
